O Come All Ye Faithful
This Christmas, I have written a new choral piece for children's choir based on the classic text O Come All Ye Faithful. The piece will be presented by the Junior Choir in the Christmas Day Service this year in the Kowloon City Swatow Christian Church. The tune is written based on the Cantonese pronunciation in the way that the text is comprehensible to the audience. I had rehearsed with the choir last Sunday and was very happy with their progress on preparing the song for the presentation. I really look forward to hearing the actual presentation.

O Little Town of Bethlehem
This Christmas, I have written a new choral piece for children's choir based on the classic text O Little Town of Bethlehem. The piece was presented by the Junior Choir at the Christmas Eve Service this year in the local church I attend. I am delighted to listen to the presentation in person and feel grateful about that.

Decoding Creativity
My chamber work Remote Intimacy for clarinet and cello (2020), commissioned by The Hong Kong Composers' Guild, was premiered in the Decoding Creativity: Interactive Platform for Contemporary Music Appreciation on 11 March 2021. The workshop and performance can be viewed on YouTube.

My research paper "Chinese Musical Culture in the Global Context – Modernization and Internationalization of Traditional Chinese Music in 21st Century” is published in the book Chinese Culture in the 21st Century and its Global Dimensions – Comparative and Interdisciplinary Perspectives. The book chapter is now available from the Springer website.

Hong Kong Motion
My work Bon Voyage - Star Ferry was performed at the SOUND-IMAGination: Hong Kong Motion concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre on 15 May 2017 by cellist TAN Cong. The piece is accompanied with video projection of the iconic STAR FERRY during the performance.
